The Role: IT Technician
You are the first point of contact for IT support at Venus Aerospace. You are responsible for maintaining the integrity of all computer workstations and associated software. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues and provide training on system usage as well as meticulous documentation abilities to maintain clear and accurate records of IT processes procedures and issues.
What Youll Get To Do:
Provide first-line IT support to Venus employees.
Troubleshoot problems with computers printers and mobile devices.
Assist with software installation updates and configuration.
Set up configure and upgrade desktops laptops and other IT equipment.
Perform routine maintenance including cleaning and repairs.
Support local area networks (LAN) wireless networks and internet connections.
Keep accurate records of support requests equipment inventory and system changes.
Assist with onboarding new staff by setting up accounts and devices.
Collaborate with system administrators and developers when needed.
What You Have:
Experience as an IT Technician or relevant position.
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks.
Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
Ability to create and manage technical documentation.
What Will Set You Apart:
Associates degree equivalent experience and/or certifications such as CompTIA A/Net.
2 years of experience in computer networks and systems.
Apple MacOS/iPadOS MDM experience.
Google Workspace experience.
Microsoft Office 365/Endpoint Management.
Experience with virtual systems such as VMWare (Omnissa) Horizon.
Work in Active Directory including user computer group management.
Linux Experience.
Experience managing or using ITSM and/or task management systems like Atlassian.
