Job Title: Vice President of Supply Chain Management
Location: Southeast
Type: Permanent Fulltime
We are looking for a dynamic and seasoned supply chain leader to oversee purchasing logistics and distribution for a large-scale hospitality operation. As VP of Supply Chain Management you will manage a team of employees across purchasing and warehouse/distribution while guiding international sourcing vendor management and ERP transformation. With a focus on fresh and perishable goods you will play a critical role in ensuring product quality cost efficiency and timely delivery. Relocation assistance including housing allowance is available for candidates open to the move.
Your role:
- Lead and manage a team of approximately 45 employees across warehouse/distribution and purchasing along with oversight of external logistics partners.
- Define reporting structures and optimize organizational design to enhance efficiency and accountability.
- Build and strengthen cross-departmental relationships to improve service levels and responsiveness.
- Mentor and develop team members through coaching training and performance management.
- Direct and coordinate all supply chain operations including procurement logistics and distribution.
- Oversee international sourcing and vendor management with a focus on compliance tariff optimization and cost savings.
- Manage import/export activities in compliance with customs regulations and collaborate with customs brokers.
- Lead the transition between ERP systems ensuring full adoption and maximizing operational benefits.
- Monitor inventory management ensure data integrity and reduce spoilage and variances.
- Improve communication across departments to ensure timely delivery and availability of products.
- Support Food & Beverage and other divisions by addressing order fulfillment and product availability issues.
- Establish and track KPIs including fill ratio performance for purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Provide regular reporting on purchasing distribution and cost performance highlighting variances and opportunities for improvement.
- Drive strategic sourcing initiatives to improve product quality reliability and consistency.
- Expand sustainability programs including reducing plastics and supporting marine-life protective measures.
- Identify opportunities for eco-friendly supply chain practices that align with large-scale hospitality operations.
What youve got:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business or a related field required (MBA preferred).
- Professional certifications such as CPIM CSCP or CPM are a plus.
- 10-15 years of progressive leadership in supply chain management ideally within hospitality or large-scale multi-site operations.
- Proven success in leading teams across purchasing logistics and distribution functions.
- Expertise in strategic sourcing vendor contract management and logistics optimization.
- Strong understanding of international sourcing and compliance frameworks including tariff strategies.
- Experience with ERP systems; Oracle experience preferred.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute operational improvements.
- Strong collaboration communication and vendor relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive performance standards cost savings and sustainability initiatives.
