Job Summary:

The Franchise Development Coordinator Supervisor plays a key leadership role in overseeing the franchise development process. This senior-level position involves leading the Franchise Development Coordinators and ensuring that franchise operations align with brand standards and business goals. The Franchise Development Coordinator Supervisor will also focus on franchise licensing contract management compliance and strategic reporting to drive the growth and success of the franchise network.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Franchise Development Coordinator providing mentorship guidance and performance coaching.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Set performance goals and ensure alignment with broader business objectives.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Finance to reconcile payment
  • Provide senior leadership with KPI reporting for lead generation and development pipeline progress.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CDO/VP of Franchise Development.
  • Assist with event coordination including franchisee meetings industry conferences team-building events and training sessions.
  • Ensure the CDO/VPs expense account is maintained correctly aligned with company policies
  • Assist with special projects data collection and research to support strategic decision-making.
  • Guide prospects through SBA loan applications; track progress and maintain records.
  • Liaise with lenders to resolve delays and ensure timely updates.
  • Oversee franchise application process ensuring complete and accurate documentation.
  • Manage reviews financial validations and background checks.
  • Track expiration and renewal timelines for franchise licenses and agreements to ensure timely action.
  • Collaborate with the franchise development legal and operations teams to streamline the franchise licensing process.
  • Assist in preparing franchise materials and presentations for prospective franchisees.
  • Ensure that all franchise marketing materials align with brand guidelines and communicate consistent messaging.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in the franchise development processes.
  • Other duties as assigned

    Required Skills / Abilities:

    • Strong leadership team management and mentorship capabilities.
    • Excellent verbal written communication and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint Salesforce DOMO).
    • Ability to travel as required for franchise development events expos and meetings.
      Education and Experience:
      • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field is preferred or
      • 3 years of progressive experience in a franchise development role or a similar leadership role ideally within the franchise industry or
      • Combination of education and experience.
      • Proven track record of successfully expanding a franchise network.
      • Strong understanding of franchise development legal documents (e.g. FDD) and operations.
      • Experience in negotiating franchise agreements and cultivating franchisee relationships.

      Physical Requirements:

      • Light-duty work environment primarily office-based with minimal physical exertion.
      • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
      • Occasional standing or walking for presentations or facilitation.
      • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs occasionally.
      • Hybrid model Work from the office on Tues/Wed/Thurs and from home on Mon/Fri.

      • Some evening or weekend work based on franchise development needs.

      The pay range for this position is $75000 - 85000 this position may have opportunities for additional compensation. Actual pay will be determined by factors including candidate experience and qualifications education and work location.
