Now Hiring: Restorative Direct Support Professionals
Location: Coventry & Johnston RI Pay: $22.50-$23.50/hour $1.00/hour Weekend Differential Schedule: Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available

Join a mission-driven team delivering restorative care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in supportive community-based settings. As a Restorative Support Professional you will play a critical role in implementing behavioral health care plans and supporting individuals in achieving greater independence emotional well-being and community integration.
What Youll Do
- Deliver restorative and rehabilitative services based on individual behavioral health care plans.
- Provide motivational consistent and respectful support to foster high-quality relationships.
- Use crisis intervention skills and offer intensive support during challenging moments.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to enhance individuals daily routines and life skills including:
- Nutritional guidance
- Employment and volunteer opportunities
- Social and relationship development
- Personal care and hygiene
- Medication administration
- Maintain a safe healthy and positive environment that promotes growth and autonomy.
Who You Are (Required Skills & Qualifications)
- Deep understanding of intellectual/developmental disabilities and co-occurring emotional/mental health needs.
- Skilled in monitoring documenting and communicating progress clearly and professionally.
- A natural role model with a positive caring demeanor and a strong sense of teamwork.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience providing rehabilitative or behavioral support to individuals with I/DD and mental health needs.
- Safety Care Certification preferred (current or previous).
- Licensure: Valid drivers license with a good driving record and reliable transportation.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. (with assistance or lifting devices) and perform physical tasks such as bending squatting pushing/pulling or kneeling without restriction.
