Job Summary
Northwest Elementary is seeking dedicated and flexibleSubstitute Teachersto join our team. Substitutes play an important role in ensuring continuity of learning by providing high-quality instruction and classroom management in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
Responsibilities:
Deliver lesson plans and instructional activities provided by the classroom teacher.
Maintain a positive safe and respectful learning environment.
Follow school policies procedures and routines.
Supervise students in classrooms hallways cafeteria playground and other assigned areas.
Communicate with staff and administration as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of an Associates or Bachelors degree (Education degree preferred).
Prior experience working with children is strongly preferred.
Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
Ability to adapt quickly to new situations and follow directions.
Positive attitude and commitment to student learning.
