It is a client-facing and internal position that encourages creative thinking and a proactive approach to opportunities.
Job Description
Data and insight play a vital role in the valuation advisory and markets activities C&W Healthcare delivers across the UK. The Analyst is key to executing these mandates effectively and strengthening our competitive position in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare valuation and financial models drawing from a range of client and public data sources.
- Create customised model outputs tailored to team requirements.
- Foster strong collaboration within the team to ensure comprehensive and accurate data collection.
- Monitor the market continuously gathering transactional and trading data market trends and actionable insights; act as the primary source for up-to-date market intelligence.
- Maintain and enhance proprietary databases for transactional and trading information ensuring easy access for the team.
- Lead the creation of C&Ws published market insight materials leveraging proprietary data to deliver well-founded analysis.
- Present market insight updates directly to clients.
- Drive ongoing development of internal valuation and financial modelling systems.
- Manage healthcare market commentary content for valuation tools and client distribution.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of in-house GIS systems and data feeds coordinating closely with the broader team to align with client needs and capitalise on opportunities.
- Build and nurture relationships with key healthcare sector media to maintain a steady stream of market insights.
- Work closely with colleagues across the Specialist Markets division and central Analytics team to share best practices and identify commercial potential.
- Collaborate with C&W healthcare specialists worldwide to produce cohesive and integrated market outputs.
- Manage and contribute to market blogs and regular updates to reinforce thought leadership and keep stakeholders informed.
- Stay current on healthcare market trends to ensure the team has timely relevant information.
Person Specification / Requirements:
We are seeking someone with a curious and analytical mindset excellent Excel skills and the capability to learn and utilise tools like Power BI and proprietary platforms (GIS databases). While previous experience in healthcare or trading real estate is a plus it is not essential as training will be provided. The ideal candidate will thrive in a friendly sociable and hardworking team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other IT tools.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal enabling effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-moving and dynamic environment.
