Job Title: Student Office Position

Job Classification:Administrative and Office Services Student

Department: School of Social Work

Hiring Manager: Krista Barrett

Contact:

Work Schedule: 10 hours per week between the hours of 8am-5pm on weekdays.

Desired Length of Employment: Fall 2025/Ongoing

Pay Rate: $10 per hour

Job Description:

We are not located on campus. Student will need to be able to drive to our location downtown for work. Preference is someone that is not a social work major and can commit to working 2 () semesters. Schedule can be flexible but need to be available multiple days for at at least 2 hours a day.

Work with faculty and staff of the Garland School of Social Work doing clerical work. Duties will include filing copying scanning sorting mail. researching and working on various computer programs. Computer skills include Word Excel PowerPoint internet research browsing and possibly other programs.

  • Greet clients and visitors with excellent customer service; answer inquiries and provide information
  • Maintain files and reports and ensure confidentiality of information
  • Assist with various projects activities or tasks as needed
  • Ability to comply with University policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
