STATUS: Full-Time Non-Exempt

Job Summary:
The Production Controller I supports daily production operations by assisting with scheduling material flow and communication between departments to ensure that work is completed on time and to quality standards. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone eager to develop their skills in production planning organization and process improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining daily production schedules and tracking progress.
- Support material flow to production areas by coordinating with warehouse and purchasing teams.
- Update production boards trackers and huddle boards with current data.
- Communicate daily with supervisors and leads to address any delays or issues.
- Assist with monitoring inventory levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
- Support preparation of reports for production metrics such as output delivery and quality.
- Help identify and report opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure adherence to company safety and quality standards in all tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college or technical training preferred).
- 1 year experience in manufacturing production or a similar environment preferred.
- Basic computer skills including familiarity with MS Office; ERP experience a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.
