THE ROLE
This is a critical technical leadership role where you will drive the next generation of our all-flash cloud storage solutions by leading Mechanical Automation and New Product Introduction (NPI) for the fast-growing new business development organization. You will serve as the Technical Program Manager (TPM) owning strategic tooling assembly process development and automation integration from concept through high-volume production. Your expertise will be essential in collaborating with Design Engineers Technical Operations and Contract Manufacturing partners to push the boundaries of product quality DFM and manufacturing capability.
WHAT YOULL DO
Drive mechanical NPI for high-performance storage products owning Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and assembly excellence to ensure seamless scalable and cost-efficient transitions into high-volume production.
Develop and deploy advanced automated assembly solutions including strategic fixture and tooling architecture robotics integration and process validation to achieve superior yield throughput and cost efficiency.
Serve as the Technical Program Manager (TPM) for mechanical systems orchestrating cross-functional execution and risk mitigation across Engineering Operations and global suppliers to ensure timely product launches.
Select qualify and provide ongoing technical consulting to Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and vendors ensuring their tooling capability and automated processes meet our stringent quality and high-volume production standards.
WHAT YOU BRING
Deep technical expertise in mechanical product development including Design for Manufacturing (DFM) Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) material properties and precision tooling design for high-volume assembly.
Proven hands-on ability to develop integrate and optimize automated assembly solutions including robotics automated fixturing and the validation of complex manufacturing processes.
Demonstrated success as a Technical Program Manager (TPM) capable of leading and driving complex cross-functional NPI initiatives from concept to production effectively managing technical risks and external partners.
Proficiency with PLM tools (e.g. Agile) for system-level Bill of Materials (BOM) structure management and configuration control coupled with strong analytical skills to lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pures policies unless you are on PTO or work travel or other approved leave.

Salary ranges are determined based on role level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

The annual base salary range is:
$175000 - $290000 USD
