Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our Respiratory Care Department in Maywood IL. This role focuses primarily on Neonatal and Pediatric patients during night shifts with flexibility to float to Adult Units depending on patient census. Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients to determine appropriate respiratory treatment plans.
- Administer and monitor respiratory therapy medications and equipment.
- Record evaluate and communicate patient conditions and progress.
- Perform advanced respiratory care modalities and respond to emergency codes.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and community resources.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Schedule & Shift Details
Shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
Hours: 36 hours per week
Schedule: 3 shifts per week every other weekend rotation
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Skills:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Traveler Respiratory Therapist experience preferred
