Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our this role you will play a key part in managing and maintaining the inventory program on contractor sites. This position involves overseeing the flow of materials used to support WiFi cable and fiber installation projects including splitters construction materials vaults markers and more. Unlike a typical warehouse role this position is based on a contractor site with storage buildings and small warehouses requiring strong organizational skills and hands-on inventory management.
This is a first-shift position (7:00 AM 3:30 PM) offering the opportunity to work independently while contributing to essential infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify stock details unit identification numbers and maintain inventory records
- Receive unpackage sort and stage units for production using RF handheld devices
- Track and audit materials to ensure accuracy and accountability
- Perform regular cycle counts and audits in line with company policies
- Label organize and properly place materials on-site
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for inventory management
- Assist the supervisor with additional duties as needed
Qualifications
- 2 years of inventory control warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic computer skills; Excel knowledge a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors for extended periods
- Flexibility in schedule and willingness to adapt to changing needs
