Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Echo Technician (Echocardiography Technologist/Ultrasound Technician) to join our team in Grove City this role youll perform high-quality cardiac imaging procedures to support accurate diagnoses and patient care. This is a full-time traveler Echo Tech position with consistent day-shift hours and the opportunity to work in a collaborative patient-focused environment.
Schedule: 40 hours/week Day Shift
Sunday: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Monday Thursday: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics following established protocols.
- Operate and adjust imaging equipment positioning patients for optimal imaging results.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and perform routine quality control checks.
- Identify significant anatomy artifacts and pathology while recognizing equipment limitations.
- Document and submit high-quality images and reports to PACS with accurate patient data.
- Support physicians and staff during complex studies and specialized imaging procedures.
- Maintain a clean safe and organized ultrasound department and procedure rooms.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Technician / Echocardiography Technologist.
- Registered or eligible credentials (RDCS RCS or equivalent preferred).
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy physiology and pathology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
Skills & Qualifications
- Traveler Echo Technician experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Proficiency with ultrasound imaging equipment and PACS systems.
