We are excited to present a challengingcareeropportunity for anaccomplished and energetic professional to join our team as a Transportation Leader for Kleinfelders Northern California Area to help shape Kleinfelders future in thisboominginfrastructuremarket.

Thisexperienced professional will foster relationships with top transportation clients and teaming partners work closely withourlocal operationsin San Francisco San Jose Sacramento Stockton Concord Santa Rosa and Fresno and will lead the development of client-centric delivery teams that will position us for extraordinary growth into the future.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Shape the growth strategy for Kleinfelders Northern California Area Transportation
  • Drive sales from a select group of targeted clientsin the transportation aviation and infrastructure market.
  • Understand the clients businessneedsand develop innovativevalue-addedsolutions andcost-effectiverecommendations toexceedthe clients needs.
  • Coordinate project delivery and proposal teams with clear and succinct communication as to the client requirements and differentiation strategies.
  • Develop andmaintainstrong relationships with clients and teaming partners in providing engineeringconstructionandprofessional consulting servicesin a trusted advisory role.
  • Proactivelynetwork with clients teaming partners and industry partnersto understand the market trends needs and future opportunitiesthat creates a Return on the Investment.
  • Work in a matrixed work environment interacting with business development and operations teams andmaintainingclose communications with the client torepresenttheir needs effectively.

The Northern California Transportation Leader will focus on advancing the relationship with the targeted transportation clients in surface transportation aviationports/harbors and transit areas of the project lifecycle with Kleinfelders comprehensive suite of services. The Northern California Transportation Leader will thoroughly understand the clients businessneeds to develop innovative solutions and sound recommendations to meet their needs. Further the Northern California Transportation Leader will coordinate project delivery and proposal teams with clear succinct communication regarding client requirements and differentiation strategies. We areseeking aprofessional with proven existing relationships (working toward $18 - $20 million-plus business) inthe transportation design bridge engineering geotechnical engineering environmental consulting materials testing quality assurance program management / construction management or similar professional consulting services.

EXPERIENCE & ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree in civil engineering or related technical field.
  • Minimum9-12years of proven progressive experience in transportationinfrastructureprojects (highways bridges rail/transitaviationand ports/harbors).
  • 10 years of direct interaction with Northern California project stakeholders (CALTRANS / DOTs municipalities transportation engineering firms design/build contractors etc.).
  • 6-7 years of management experiencedesired.
  • 5-6 years of supervisory/management experienced desired.

POSITION CONDITIONS

  • Flexible work schedule - however duties will be primarily performed in an office environment
  • Occasional travel to attend industry client and teaming partner meetings as needed

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Washington Pay Transparency Law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary range: $140000 - $235000.
