Pay Range

The pay range for this role is $59242-$73737 annually. Compensation is based on your unique qualifications and experience.

Job Summary
Join our team as a Vendor Specialist where you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our vendor relationships. Your expertise will ensure seamless collaboration and efficient procurement processes contributing to our organizations success and growth.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manage and maintain relationships with existing vendors to ensure consistent quality and service delivery.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential new vendors and assess their suitability.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with vendors to achieve cost savings and value.
  • Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contractual terms and company standards.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts with vendors promptly to maintain smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand their vendor requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Develop and implement vendor evaluation and selection criteria.
  • Maintain accurate records of vendor activities agreements and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely and accurate payment processing to vendors.
  • Review and analyze vendor proposals to ensure alignment with company objectives and budget.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in vendor management.
  • Prepare and present reports on vendor performance and cost savings to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in vendor dealings.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide input on vendor-related decisions.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in vendor management or procurement.
  • Proficiency in vendor management software and ERP systems.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to work in an indoor office environment and an active outdoor construction site environment.
  • Must be able to ascend and descend ladders and stairs.
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
  • Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions and be exposed to dirt or dust.
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment most of the day.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 25lbs regularly and 50lbs occasionally.
  • Must be able to work for long periods of time in front of a computer or while standing.
