Job Summary
Responsibilities
Join the HazTek Team as a Safety Specialist near Reston VA! Come make an impact supporting project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented and OSHA safety compliance requirements are met.
- Oversee all aspects of complex electrical structures on construction site while ensuring OSHA compliance
- Implement and maintain safety policies procedures and best practices
- Collaborate with executive management on contractor safety plans
- Conduct regular safety audits inspections and risk assessments across job sites
- Oversee all subcontractors and contractors ensuring competency
- Promote and champion a proactive safety culture from pre-construction through project completion
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in construction safety
- OSHA 30 in Construction required
- Experience in contractor communications
- In-depth knowledge of electrical hazards and controls
- Advanced experience working on data center or mission critical builds
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills

Preferred:
- Bachelors degree in a safety related field is a plus
- Active BCSP certification is a plus
- NFPA 70e
- EM
