Job Description
Job Title: Graduate Assistant in Collections Student Supervisor (Part-time)
Reporting Relationship: Circulation Supervisor
Unit: IWU - Marion
Department: Library
Campus Location: Jackson Library - Marion IN
Duties and Responsibilities
- Library closing duties
- Provide user centric services and training for circulation assistants
- Perform collection maintenance and shelving oversight
- Create book displays
- Team collaboration and support
- Participation in semester calendar events and meetings
Qualifications:According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.
Education
- Enrollment in Graduate Program at Indiana Wesleyan University
Experience
- Previous experience in a library or customer service setting
- Interest in academic librarianship or information services or familiarity with library systems
- Supervisory experience a plus
Required Skills
- Enrollment in a graduate program at Indiana Wesleyan University.
- Strong commitment to customer service and Christian values.
- Excellent interpersonal organizational and communication skills.
