Job Description Summary

Ensures product and process excellence primarily focusing on electrical panels. This role combines hands-on product inspection with quality engineering responsibilities including developing work instructions managing equipment calibrations handling non-conformities and driving continuous improvement

Roles and Responsibilities

Electrical Panel Inspection:

  • Perform detailed inspections of in-process and finished electrical panels against technical specifications and drawings.

  • Identify document and report non-conformities ensuring project traceability.
  • Knowlagent functional and safety tests on electrical panels (is a plus).

Quality Engineering & Process Improvement:

  • Create review and optimize work instructions and procedures for manufacturing processes especially for electrical panels.

  • Manage the calibration program for measurement and test equipment.
  • Investigate root causes of non-conformities (internal and supplier-related) implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Analyze and map manufacturing processes identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for Manufacturing Quality.

Quality Management Systems & Training:

  • Support and monitoring of quality management systems.
  • Provide and follow quality and process training to the teams.
  • Foster a strong quality culture within the organization.

Continuous Improvement & Collaboration:

  • Participate in continuous improvement projects (e.g. Lean Six Sigma FMEA PDCA).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (ITO and OTR) to ensure product quality.

Required Qualification:

  • Technical degree in electrical Production Mechatronics Engineering or related field. Bachelors is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quality with proven experience in both product inspection (preferably electrical. panels) and quality engineering/process management.
  • Solid knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001) and quality tools (PDCA MASP FMEA).
  • Experience with equipment calibration management.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and product specifications (electrical panels).
  • Six Sigma certification (Green Belt/Black Belt) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Intermediate English and Portuguese is a plus.

Working hours: The work can be carried out in a hybrid way with availability to be at the Taubat unit for face-to-face meetings and analyses.
