About the role:
Lendlease Victoria is seeking aSenior Project Engineerto join our team in Melbourne to help deliver a long-term project.
In this role youll lead the procurement and construction functions manage site/project engineers and ensure the project is delivered safely on time within budget and to the highest quality standards. Youll oversee construction planning productivity sustainability EHS compliance quality assurance and financial and contract management. Youll also mentor junior staff and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.
As a senior member of the project team you will play a key role in driving collaboration across disciplines fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement and championing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. You will be instrumental in shaping project outcomes and contributing to the long-term success of Lendleases operations in Melbourne.
To be successful you will need:
7 years of on-site construction delivery experience.
Proven track record on large-scale building projects (ideally >$100m).
Strong skills in programme development cost control and risk management.
Experience resolving design and coordination issues.
Ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors effectively.
Deep understanding of EHS quality and sustainability standards.
Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills.
Based centrally or in the Northern / Western suburbsis advantageous to ensure proximity to the project site and facilitate efficient coordination
