The Role: Maintenance Coordinator - Contract
What you do (Responsibilities):
- Practice safe work and identify unsafe situations to the appropriate individuals
- Adhere to company and departmental policies and best practices for quality cleanliness and health and safety
- Schedule and participate in regular site inspections of facilities and equipment
- Create Service Tickets based on the inspection report and monitor service tickets until they are resolved
- Set an example in adherence to Health and Safety Standards
- Create Purchase Orders for maintenance equipment and parts
- Maintain positive relationships with Distributors Contractors Service Providers Room Managers and Supervisors
- Assign Service Tickets to the appropriate Staff Member Contractor or Service Provider
- Resolve Service Tickets by scheduling the appropriate Contractor or Service Provider
- Support the Maintenance team in completing maintenance tasks relevant to your training and skills
- Maintain a Preventive Maintenance Schedule
- Communicate professionally in person by phone and through email
- Ensure guests have confirmed appointments and are provided with appropriate personal protective equipment during their visit
- Supports new or returning staff as required with onboarding demonstrations of daily duties and responsibilities while ensuring safety and SOP guidelines are being followed.
- Perform general housekeeping and equipment cleaning duties as required
- Represent the ethics and culture of the Lush brand
- Inventory management of stores spare parts and materials
- Optimize CMMS integration
- Monthly KPI reporting
Who you are (Qualifications):
Required:
- Current Lush employee
- Flexible to work weekends holidays and occasional overtime
- Confident with basic mathematics ability to count including addition and subtraction
- Accustomed to working in a highly seasonal high-pressure environment
- Capable of physical activities such as standing for long durations bending down pulling and pushing
- Holds a valid Class 5 drivers license
- Forklift siccor lift or walkie jack certified
- Proficient in Google Suite (GMail GChat GMeet GDoc)
- Success in identifying documenting prioritizing and closing tasks
- Demonstrated process improvement experience focused on the ability to find the root cause
- Maintain a positive attitude and engage in your work
- Ability to achieve daily goals consistently
- Excellent problem-solving communication and organizational skills
- Able to plan prioritize and organize multiple tasks
- Open and adaptable to daily feedback on performance
- Reliable consistent attendance punctual and dependable
- Competency in English: reading writing and speaking
Preferred:
- Mechanical equipment and process knowledge
- 1-2 years administrative or maintenance experience in cosmetics pharmaceuticals or the food industry
- Ticket system and/or CMMS experience (Computerized maintenance management system such as Hippo)
- Experience or familiarity with Industrial Equipment (Industrial Mixers Pneumatic Systems Hydraulic Systems Labelling Lines)
- Experience or familiarity with hand or powered tools
- Well-versed in Lushs Health and Safety Program
- First Aid Certified
