What you will do We are looking for a skilled HVAC Maintenance Mechanic who has worked in residential light commercial and/or heavy commercial markets to join our team to work the most advanced heavy commercial and industrial cutting-edge equipment. Examples of tasks/equipment you will be working on could include: changing filters/belts greasing bearings chiller tube brushing cooling tower cleaning coil cleaning pump maintenance delivery of equipment/parts troubleshooting and repairs on light commercial equipment etc.

How will you do it We provide factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA) with milestone recognition and monetary rewards and advancement increased incentive opportunities for executed pull-through work top-of-the-line technology equipment and uniforms and a #1 focus on employee safety. We will equip you with tools and a vehicle to perform your job at the highest standard. Maintenance Mechanic must have practical working experience in residential light commercial or commercial mechanical equipment. May be required to satisfactorily pass an examination to identify special skills. The scope of work shall be limited to commercial HVACR service. Maintenance Mechanic may partner with Journeymen in the repair of centrifugal steam turbines absorption machines open-drive screw chillers and ammonia systems.

Perform maintenance repair and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.

What we look for

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Two (2) years of Commercial and/or industrial mechanical troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry or community college HVAC diploma.

Computer savvy with good verbal and written communication skills.

Must be a good-standing member of the UA Local 787 JTAC or willing to join the Union as a registered maintenance mechanic.

A valid Full G drivers license with a clean driving record is required.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently

Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld computers (i.e. Smartphone iPad)

Preferred

1-5 years of Residential commercial and/or industrial work experience in the HVAC industry.

Refrigeration Certification.

Pay Range: 3125$ hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
