Assisting sales personnel with enhancing the customer buying experience.
Acting as a liaison between production and sales regarding the quality of portland and masonry cements.
Promoting the use of cement and concrete by participating in industry groups and trade associations.
Responding to technical questions from customers contractors engineers and owners.
Maintaining working relations with governmental agencies such as state transportation departments.
Conducting seminars on various technical/marketing subjects.
Traveling as required to the following service areas: Michigan Ohio Indiana Kentucky Illinois Wisconsin Iowa and Missouri.
Bachelor of Science degree in a science field or equivalent construction program is preferred.
5 years experience in the concrete masonry or cement industries is preferred.
Knowledge of cement and admixture chemistries.
