Job Description
Work for a thriving geotechnical engineering firm providing subsurface investigations strategic consulting construction quality control and value engineering to design professionals contractors private developers and public agencies.
Summary - Geotechnical Project Manager - Senior Level
Responsibilities:
-Management of small moderate and large engineering design projects specifically in the geotechnical engineering field.
-Business Development
-Client and contract Management
-Staff mentoring
-Project management including management of budget scope and schedule
-QA/QC procedures
Skills and Abilities:
-Possess knowledge in all aspects of geotechnical engineering design including residential and commercial site development
-Have knowledge in deep foundation temporary shoring retaining wall and slope stability analysis and design
-Demonstrated knowledge of local and state building codes
-Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
-Self-motivated
-Excellent attention to detail
-Ability to think critically and solve problems
-Ability to work well in a team-oriented structure
Requirements:
-PE license in NJ and NY
-8 years experience in design and project management
-Team player
-Responsive to clients
-Great work ethic
-Engineering experience with Geotechnical investigations SOE Design underpinning design earthquake geotechnical analysis etc.
-Excellent Project Manager - very important
-MS. Degree is preferred.
Salary Range: $100000-$150000/year
