JD:
We are seeking a skilled Manual Tester with experience in the automotive domain to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating automotive software systems ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze requirements and create detailed comprehensive and well-structured test cases.
Execute manual test cases and identify bugs or issues.
Report and track defects using tools like Elvis JIRA Bugzilla or similar.
Perform regression functional integration and system testing.
Collaborate with developers business analysts and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.
Perform manual and/or automated testing of APIs and data interfaces.
Validate data flow between front-end and back-end systems.
Use tools like Postman SoapUI or Swagger for API testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
3 5 years of experience in manual software testing.
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Experience with test case management tools (e.g. ALM Doors).
Strong understanding of API testing data validation and system integration.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

ISTQB certification or equivalent.
Experience in infotainment.
Exposure to scripting (Python CAPL) is a plus.
Knowledge of CAN / Ethernet diagnostic tools and test automation frameworks.
