Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of embedded systems across subsystem and system levels.
- Develop execute and maintain detailed test plans and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety-critical standards and industry regulations.
- Document and communicate test results effectively to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and improve testing processes.
Skills Required:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing preferably in embedded systems.
- Proficient in creating and executing test plans and documenting results.
- Experience with system-level and subsystem-level testing.
- Solid understanding of embedded systems and Linux environments.
- Ability to follow existing test plans and create new ones with clear detailed instructions.
- Strong communication skills for presenting results and participating in customer reviews.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with IBM DOORS and Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM).
- Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks.
- Experience with automation is a plus though not required.
