Job Summary

Job Title: Pharmacist
Site: Southern Bands Health Center (Elko Service Unit ESU)
Location: 515 Shoshone Circle Elko NV 89801

Duration: 1 year contract with possibility of a 4 years extension

Shift Schedule:

Full-time 8-hour shifts (Monday Friday for most locations).
Phoenix and Whiteriver units may include evening night weekend or holiday shifts.
Example schedules: 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. 9:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m. 1:00 p.m. 10:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m. 12:00 a.m.

License / Certifications:

Active unrestricted Pharmacist license (U.S. state/territory).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Education:

Bachelors or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited program

Minimum Qualification / Experience:

At least 2 years of experience as a licensed Pharmacist.
Proficiency in EHR systems and documentation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse patient populations

Responsibilities:

Review patient charts lab work allergies and vitals to verify medication orders.
Process fill and check prescription orders for accuracy.
Provide medication counseling and patient education.
Collaborate with providers and staff to ensure safe and effective therapy.
Manage controlled substances audits and IV admixtures.
Administer immunizations (with certification).
Answer provider and patient inquiries regarding drug therapy.
Recognize and respond to adverse drug reactions and emergencies.
Participate in mandatory training and competency assessments
