Job Title: Senior Analyst Transportation (MedTech)

Role Overview:
The Senior Analyst Inter-Regional Transportation (IRT) is responsible for ensuring seamless operational execution of inter-region transport lanes (door-to-door). This role involves managing day-to-day logistics activities resolving operational issues coordinating with freight forwarders shipping sites supply planning and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency reliability and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee end-to-end operational management of Johnson & Johnson inter-region transport lanes to ensure product availability and customer satisfaction.
Manage transportation issues track & trace activities exception handling and coordinate with logistics partners.
Partner with distribution centers manufacturing facilities and logistics providers to manage freight operations.
Lead process improvement initiatives using Six Sigma FPX and other project management methodologies to improve cost efficiency and service reliability.
Monitor and present performance metrics project updates and operational reports to senior management.
Participate in vendor management including performance reviews and day-to-day tactical collaboration.
Support global transportation bids lane implementations tenders and change management activities (new routes/customers).
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for new product launches continuous improvement projects and customer service initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to strengthen supply chain efficiency.
Drive transparent communication agility and accountability across teams while fostering innovation and adaptability.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelors degree required.
Experience: 2 4 years in Supply Chain Planning Logistics Transportation Distribution Manufacturing or Customer Service.
Technical Skills:
Strong problem-solving and risk assessment capabilities.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Working knowledge of project management tools (MS Project Gantt charts RACI FMEA Lessons Learned).
Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Tableau and Alteryx (reading not building).
Other Requirements:
International operations/transportation experience is a must.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across hierarchical and cultural boundaries.
Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
Six Sigma/Process Excellence training or certification.
Fluency in additional languages.
