All About the Role:
Join a team of engaged professionals within Electroluxs Consumer Direct Interaction (CDI) organization where promoting Brand Loyalty through an effortless ownership experience is at the core of our mission. As Purchasing Manager you will lead direct material procurement operations managing a team of Buyers responsible for securing parts and components to support best-in-class availability of aftermarket parts and accessories.
This role requires both tactical execution and long-term strategic planning. Youll collaborate closely with S&OP Product Lines Engineering Finance and other cross-functional teams to ensure timely order fulfillment cost optimization and continuous improvement of procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead develop and oversee the performance of a team managing 8000 open purchase orders including process documentation training and workload balancing
- Monitor KPIs for purchasing operations identify gaps and implement corrective actions to improve supplier delivery quality and cost performance
- Resolve supply constraints and collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure orders meet timeline and specification requirements
- Identify and drive adoption of technology solutions to optimize procurement processes and reporting capabilities
- Coordinate the integration of new suppliers engineering changes and parts across multiple teams and platforms
- Partner with Finance to manage purchasing budgets track spend and ensure compliance with contractual terms
- Contribute to strategic initiatives cost reduction efforts and continuous improvement of supplier performance and internal processes
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- 3 years of experience in purchasing sourcing or procurement with knowledge of direct materials and material flow processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint Word) and familiarity with enterprise procurement systems
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a proven ability to drive cost savings and process improvements
