Job Overview
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Band 7 Locum Diabetes Specialist Dietitian to join a renowned NHS hospital in West London. This role focuses on managing patients with complex Type 1 diabetes and is expected to start at the end of September.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dietitian to work within a dynamic and forward-thinking diabetes service contributing to the care of high-complexity patients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will:
Provide specialist dietetic input for patients with complex Type 1 diabetes.
Develop and implement individualised nutritional care plans.
Collaborate with endocrinologists diabetes nurses and other MDT members.
Participate in clinical meetings and case discussions.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with professional standards.
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this role you must have:
A recognised degree in Dietetics.
HCPC registration.
Extensive experience managing complex Type 1 diabetes cases.
Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
