Working as a Product Manager youll have the opportunity to transform digital experiences platforms and tools. These help our customers identify pay for and use the right products for them in a way that suits them.
At OVO youll work with a talented team of engineers researchers experience designers and analysts. Youll build data-driven and hypothesis-led customer experiences which deliver against our business strategy. Youll experiment your way to fulfilling customer needs and providing value and youll often be found story-mapping canvas-filling needs-assessing optimising stakeholder-managing and test-and-learning. Youll work closely with the Head of Product and other Product Managers across our domains too.
This role in a nutshell:
Were looking for a candidate who can challenge how things are done currently pushing themselves and others to innovate to improve their approach to problems. You are an accomplished product manager with a proven track record of delivering positive results
Your key outcomes will be:
- Owning the product vision strategy and roadmap throughout a product lifecycle.
- You will embed customers at the heart of product decisions.
- You will use data and customer-centric product techniques to create hypotheses to test identify and solve problems and to simplify complex customer experiences.
- You will use online and offline insight - including research customer contact complaints and reviews - to inform your decisions
- Focus on how to get ideas off the ground quickly - identifying the thinnest slice possible to get meaningful customer data.
- Champion your product both in and outside your team - understand how it fits into the wider Product offering how it could evolve and inspire your team to do more.
- Work with others to set ambitious OKRs and take the responsibility to do what it takes to meet them.
- You will ensure that the solutions were building can translate to clear positive impact on business metrics.
- You will establish clear priorities and find ways of articulating them with your own team and the wider business.
- Get involved in our wider product community - using that as an opportunity to learn get support from other like minded individuals and give back to the wider OVO team.
Youll be a successful Product Manager here at OVO if you
- Are comfortable with the ambiguity that comes from working in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to changing market needs
- Experienced across software development
- You have a good understanding of Agile methods cross functional working and development at different stages of the product life cycle
- Experienced using optimisation tools journey analysis tools etc.
- You are comfortable prioritising initiatives and ideas based on value and impact and you can clearly articulate those decisions
- You have strong analytical skills able to cut through opinions with data
- You are experienced in working in a matrixed organisation multiple stakeholders
- You are data driven in measuring the impact of what you build and have a track record of improving your customers experience.
- Experience in the energy and/ or of a highly regulated industry would be advantageous
- Experience digitising offline customer experiences is a plus.
- Are looking for autonomy and accountability to deliver great outcomes while delivering value at the earliest opportunity
- Find new concepts easy to understand and show the tenacity to keep asking the right questions
- Love sharing your skills and experiences with colleagues
- Recognise assumptions (including your own) and seek ways to try and validate them

Well pay you between 55660 and 73480 depending on your specific skills and experience.
We keep our pay ranges broad on purpose to give us and you flexibility to match your experience to our zero carbon mission.
Youll be eligible for an on-target bonus of 15%. We have one OVO bonus plan that focuses on the collective performance of our people to deliver our Plan Zero goal.
