OVERVIEW AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The primary responsibility of the Lead Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer is to serve as an expert resource overseeing the testing of software and technology solutions while acting as a hands-on leader of a small team of QA engineers. The Lead QA Engineer will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs. The Lead QA Engineer will also review system requirements and track quality assurance addition the Lead QA Engineer will have proven hands-on experience with object-oriented design and programming languages.
- Review requirements with project teams for testability and conduct test case reviews to ensure business requirement coverage
- Execute functional integration regression and exploratory testing
- Write design execute and maintain manual tests in Test Management
- Write design execute and maintain automated tests that run testing functions automatically
- Serve as a leader encouraging a culture of innovation and accountability while adhering to industry best practices
- Mentor less senior QA engineers as needed
- Build and maintain test automation frameworks
- Work with and maintain CI/CD processes
- Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system
- Log and documents bugs in bug tracking system
- ALL DCI employees will be vigilant to support the positive compliant cybersecurity company posture by familiarizing themselves with all policies procedures standards and guidelines and act accordingly. This position will serve as the security officer for Acumen and is expected to exert the utmost care due diligence and ensure the proper compliance for all computer server and cloud systems. This position is trusted to ensure proper protections for all sensitive information created stored transmitted and otherwise processed by supporting barriers deterring unauthorized access recognizing and reporting problems that are uncharacteristic of business activity and known and as-yet unrecognized vulnerabilities and risks in hardware and software. This position will support the management and monitoring of any attacks and intrusions forensics and subsequent activities.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to learn and work independently
- Experience in Webservices (API)
- Must be strong in Automation with experience in on or more of the following: AccelQ Selenium (Web driver) and (JavaScript)
- Ability to understand and develop frameworks
- Experience in Behavior-Driven Development and Test-Driven Development (BDD/TDD)
- Experience in Gherkin (Cucumber) language
- Must be strong in Mobile App automation testing and ability to understand and develop frameworks
- Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools.
- Excellent analytical & strong debugging skills
- Experience with Jira Confluence and TestRail
- Experience with continuous integration tools (Ex: Azure DevOps) Or good understanding of CI/CD Processes
- Good experience with git and bitbucket
- Experience in Agile / Scrum
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in SQL with experience in testing applications that utilize databases
