CONTRACTOR OPPORTUNITY: FSEAP Critical Incident Response (CIR) Provider
FSEAP Critical Incident Response (CIR) Provider Competition #57-25
About Our Opportunity:
Family Services Employee Assistance Program (FSEAP) provides clinical counselling services to employees of client organizations who may be experiencing problems in their personal family or work addition the program provides several organizational services to its corporate clients including workplace consulting training and critical incident stress management responses. As a social enterprise of Family Services of Greater Vancouver (FSGV) FSEAP is a fee-generating business with all of its profits going to support the larger work of FSGV and the Greater Vancouver community.
We are seeking multiple providers across B.C. and the Yukon to deliver on-site debriefing following workplace critical incidents. Responsibilities include consulting with FSEAP and client organizations coordinating and delivering interventions (individual/group) and managing documentation. Special consideration will be given to candidates who can travel within the Lower Mainland in addition to other regions in B.C. where contract opportunities may arise.
Work Hours: Variable
Compensation: $85/hour
Location: Various Regions across BC and the Yukon (applicants must be able to deliver services on-site or virtually as needed).

What do you need to succeed
Education Training Experience
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. social sciences health sciences psychology counselling).
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in crisis management and trauma response with individuals and groups.
  • Certification or formal training in CISM/CISD is an asset.
Knowledge Skills Abilities
  • Strong commitment to working collaboratively and demonstrates excellent communication skills.
  • Maintain the strictest level of confidentiality with all client and program-related information.
  • Demonstrated ability to be organized and maintain professional records and timely submission of paperwork.
  • Able to accommodate urgent requests on short notice for either on-site or virtual responses.
Additional Requirements
  • Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check
  • Professional Liability Insurance with a minimum coverage of $per occurrence and $aggregate.
