Location: Northamptonshire (Driving licence essential)
Full-time Permanent
33000 starting salary rising to 35000 after 3 months

Key Responsibilities
- Produce and translate detailed 2D and 3D fabrication layout and general arrangement drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
- Understanding engineering principles collaborating with other professionals and ensuring designs meet specific project goals and industry standards.
- Produce detailed technical drawings also known as blueprints from these models for various stages of a project.
- Work with other specialists to understand design requirements and turn them into accurate technical plans.
- Verify designs meet project specifications quality standards and relevant industry regulations.
What Were Looking For
- Experience in CAD Design roles or Mechanical Design ideally in lifting systems steelwork or live events
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor (2D and 3D)
- Strong understanding of fabrication welding machining and modular assembly
- Excellent communicator able to engage both technical and creative stakeholders
- Full UK driving licence due to location of the role
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of stage machinery hoists motors and load-bearing systems
