A Medical Lab Technician who excels in this role:

Medical Lab Tech Position Summary
Performs routine laboratory tests in various sections of the laboratory. Reports to the Director of Laboratory Services.
Essential Functions Additional Information
Patient Populations Served: Does not directly treat or care for patients.
Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic Clinical Insurance Financial Complete Medical Record.
Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.
Physical Requirements: Frequent sitting computer/data entry and instrument handling; occasional standing walking and light lifting. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards including blood and bodily fluids hazardous medications and latex.
