Please note: the role requires availability to work alternating public holidays.
What Youll Do
- Ensure accurate compliant payroll processing across Australia (and support NZ where required).
- Interpret and apply complex Awards agreements and legislation with precision.
- Lead audit compliance and reporting activities to ensure payroll integrity.
- Drive continuous improvement by challenging current processes.
- Support system accuracy and optimisation (Humanforce MicrOpay and Workday).
- Provide trusted experienced advice to strengthen payroll processes and compliance maturity.
What You Bring
- 5 years payroll experience with a strong focus on Australian payroll processes.
- Expert award interpretation skills and detailed knowledge of Australian legislation tax and super.
- Compliance and audit focus with a data-driven mindset.
- Experience across payroll systems; Workday highly regarded Humanforce/MicrOpay a plus.
- Proactive solutions-focused approach with the confidence to challenge processes constructively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to share expertise with the wider payroll team.
