About the role
Roku is looking for a skilled FP&A Manager to join the Platform Finance to the Sr. Manager Platform FP&A this role will play a critical role in providing senior management with an assessment of historical and forward-looking financial performance including analysis of business performance and trends risks and opportunities and communication of business insights.
This role will play a key role in supporting and advising the Subscriptions & Platform marketing to success in this role is the ability to balance competing priorities navigate a fluid and ambiguous environment and drive projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will possess a strong quantitative background and analytical mindset advanced modeling abilities and superior attention to detail. This is an individual contributor role based out of the Santa Monica office.
For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $155000 and $170000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set certifications and specific geographical location. What youll be doing
- Monitor key performance indicators highlighting trends and analyzing causes of changes. Proactively conduct deep dives when observing abnormal trends
- Help launch & scale new product oversee detailed P&L
- Support recurring & ad hoc FP&A deliverables managing quarterly close & forecasting reporting
- Oversee Operational Expenses & Headcount investments across org ensuring maximum return and efficiencies
- Work closely with executive management on ad hoc projects to provide in-depth business case analysis and to drive intelligent decision making
- Collaborate with business to improve Marketing ROI
Were excited if you have
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative subject (finance economics mathematics)
- 8 years of prior experience ideally in a range of Corporate Finance top-tier investment banking management consulting or corporate strategy/analytics roles
- Background in tech and/or media industries preferred
- Extensive experience building and maintaining complex financial models; expert level proficiency with excel
- Superior analytical capabilities with deep understanding of how a business operates
- Talent for synthesizing complex ideas and communicating them in ways others can easily understand; ability to clearly and concisely present issues ideas and recommendations in verbal written and presentation formats to senior executives
- Ability to navigate a complex & matrixed corporate environment while juggling multiple responsibilities. A positive can-do attitude & collaborative mindset is essential
- Equally comfortable operating at 10000 feet and 1 foot. You dont hesitate to get in the weeds and work at the lowest level of detail but youre just as comfortable thinking long-term and inspiring a team. No job is too small
- Ability to thrive in high-performance cultures handle stress well and arent afraid of long hours in pursuit of meaningful work
- Unafraid of ambiguity. Rapid change and learning excite you and you know how to find direction and craft a plan of action even when none is given
- Strong problem structuring skills with a proficiency in hypothesis-based problem solving

- Curious; a constant learner with a relentless drive to acquire knowledge and new skill sets
