SAS has recently emerged as a privately held company from a complete financial restructuring under a U.S. Chapter 11 leading to a solid financial foundation and ambitious business plan for the coming years. Air France KLM Group today hold a minority stake in SAS but have announced their intention to become majority owner a process that is currently pending EU approval.
As Group business controller you will be responsible for supporting the Group level financial agenda. You will strive for continuous improvements development of the financial planning process/tools and delivery of SAS business plan and strategy. Your responsibility and involvement will include storytelling in numbers and improving financial transparency.
Drive and support financial processes including target setting FP&A/BI development financial analysis etc
Proactively identify assess present and support in key business improvement opportunities.
Benchmark follow up on performance/forecasts KPIs and drive change.
Responsible for periodic management reporting budget and forecast processes
Support with Ad-hoc analysis both locally for the business units and centrally for Business Performance Management (within Finance).
Develop various presentation materials to peers as well as to executive leadership in SAS.
Solid experience in understanding business control financial planning and analysis.
A minimum 3-5 years working experience as business controller or other similar/relevant positions - prior experience from management or auditing consulting firm highly meriting.
Experience of stakeholder and process management incl. cross functional leadership in a multinational environment.
Experience from complex entities with complex planning processes is desired.
Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to be thorough with the details while still effectively convey a financial message.
A strong challenging mindset and an innovative approach.
Possess a strong self-drive and motivation to constantly improve and reach new goals.
Relevant . university degree preferably within economy or finance
IT Excellent skills in MS Excel (VBA macro knowledge meriting) and MS PowerPoint. MS PowerBI Anaplan (or other Business Intelligence tool) experience highly desired.
Fluency in English and preferably also one Scandinavian language

Position: Fulltime (100%)
This position is based in Frsundavik Solna (Stockholm) and you will be expected to work onsite. Remote work may also be an option depending on the agreement made with your manager.
