As the Wai 2750 Senior Advisor you will contribute to the Crowns response to Wai 2750 which hears Mori evidence and lived experience of Crown housing policy and services. The Inquiry will strengthen Crown and Mori partnerships so together we can provide long-term housing solutions that reset the housing system.
This role is In Te Khui our Mori Crown relations team which leads HUDs focus to improve Mori housing and urban development outcomes for with and by Mori.
You will partner with HUDs stakeholders to drive the Crown outcomes for the Inquiry building and managing constructive working relationships across a variety of functions and with work colleagues and external stakeholders to enhance understanding and co-operation needed to achieve the Crowns desired results for the Inquiry.

Experience in producing short term research projects would be advantageous and you might have a legal or research background. You will:
Be committed to strengthening the Mori-Crown relationship and to growing your knowledge and use of te ao Mori tikanga Mori and Mori values and perspectives in your work while supporting others to do the same.
Have proven experience working proactively across Crown agencies to reach a desired outcome.
Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written as well as a good understanding of Tikanga Mori
