About the Role
Royal Prince Alfred is the principal teaching hospital of the University of Sydney and offers speciality services from its main campus as well as from Institute of Rheumatology and Orthopaedics Chris OBrien Lifehouse and Dame Edith Walker is one of Australias leading hospitals providing an extensive range of diagnostic and treatment services. Its specialities include cardiology obstetrics and gynaecology cancer respiratory medicine neurology liver and kidney transplants.
The primary purpose of the role is to provide senior clinical leadership within Social Work service provision including optimisation of patient/client care delivery as well as supporting the mentoring and development of staff including provision of supervision and direction to Level 1/2 staff and students on clinical placements in accordance with the award.
