Job Summary

Under general supervision assists with making meal selections ordering and selling appropriate add-on items. Work various retail food stations as assigned. Responsible for set-up service and clean-up of meals served during shift. Interact and communicate with all customers visitors and employees in a friendly and respectful manner. General cleaning and stocking as assigned. Follows and implements HACCP guidelines.

Essential Functions:

Prepares a variety of foods according to customers orders or supervisors instructions following approved procedures. (60%)
Participates in post meal cleanup tasks as assigned or directed including sweeping mopping and waxing floors and working in dish room and pot room as needed.
(30%)
Assist Cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed and provide cooks with needed items. (10%)

Education:

No High School Diploma and/or No GED required

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of food preparation techniques
Knowledge of safety hazards and necessary safety precautions sufficient to be able to establish a safe work environment.
Knowledge of chemicals and equipment used to clean surface areas sufficient to be able to maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Skill in understanding and following oral illustrated written or demonstrated instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively
