As Sous Chef youll play a key role in delivering an exceptional culinary experience supporting the Head Chef in daily operations guiding the team and ensuring every plate that leaves the kitchen feels like it came straight from an Italian home.
What Youll Do
Support the Head Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen Lead services when required ensuring consistency in quality and timing Prepare authentic Italian dishes together with your team Contribute to menu development tastings and recipe creation Oversee ordering stock management and kitchen organization Train and guide Chef de Parties and Demi Chefs in their roles Inspire and motivate your team by leading with passion and professionalism Ensure HACCP and safety standards are maintained at all times Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and share your knowledge with the team Foster a constructive supportive and team-oriented kitchen culture.
Who You Are
An experienced Sous Chef or a strong Chef de Partie ready to take the next step Solid knowledge of Italian or Mediterranean cuisine or a strong interest and willingness to learn Passionate about culinary excellence and creativity A natural leader with a positive and supportive style able to motivate and inspire others Calm and structured under pressure with a solutions-oriented mindset Strong communicator who thrives on collaboration and teamwork Flexible and adaptable with availability for evenings and weekends Attentive to detail always aiming for consistency and quality Someone who enjoys sharing knowledge mentoring junior staff and helping others grow Always smiling and ready with solutions even when challenges arise.
Nice to Have
Passion for luxury hospitality Experience in training and mentoring junior staff Knowledge of fine dining and brasserie cuisine.
