Interior Design Director

Job Description Summary

The Design Director is a leadership role responsible for the overall visual
aesthetics and functional design of a companys products or services. This
position demands a highly creative and strategic professional who can guide
a team of designers interface with senior management and align design
initiatives with broader company goals. As the spearhead of design
operations the Design Director ensures consistency in branding and
messaging across all platforms and projects.

Job Description

Design Project Director Responsibilities & Duties
  • Develop and implement the overall design strategy in line with company goals
  • Oversee the creative process from concept to final execution on multiple projects
  • Ensure consistency and quality of design across all marketing and branding materials
  • Collaborate with product managers marketing teams and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive product and brand vision
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate relevant innovations into design practices
  • Develop and maintain design budgets and timelines
  • Present design concepts and strategies to senior management and clients
  • Evaluate and select design tools and software
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to design team members
Design Director Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience in a senior design role within a similar industry
  • Advanced degree in Design Fine Arts or a related field
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite Sketch and InDesign ACAD and/or REVIT software
  • Strong portfolio showcasing successful design projects
  • Strong understanding of branding and marketing principles
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Track record of successful project delivery on time and within budget
  • Bachelors degree in Interior Design Fine Arts or related field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years experience in a design leadership role
  • Strong project management skills
  • Exceptional creativity and innovation
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate with various departments
  • Knowledge of the latest design trends and technologies

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $167960.00 - $197600.00
