Associate Account Manager Commercial Insurance
Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Account Manager to join a Commercial Lines team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting a dynamic book of business while working closely with experienced professionals. Responsibilities
- Support Account Managers in servicing commercial insurance accounts including Property General Liability Auto Workers Compensation and Umbrella lines.
- Act as a secondary point of contact for client inquiries providing timely and accurate responses regarding policies coverages billing and documentation.
- Issue complex certificates of insurance and endorsements.
- Prepare new and renewal proposals and policy summaries.
- Order and analyze loss runs from carriers for renewals or new business quoting.
- Create and format loss summaries to support marketing and underwriting submissions.
- Assist with client onboarding ensuring accurate setup in technology platforms such as client portals and risk management tools.
- Coordinate with internal teams to deploy and support client-facing tools.
- Help prepare submissions and gather underwriting data.
- Communicate with underwriters to secure quotes confirm coverage and process policy changes.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the agency management system.
- Ensure workflows align with agency procedures and carrier requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements
- 25 years of experience in commercial insurance or client service (brokerage experience preferred).
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license or the ability to obtain one within 90 days.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Familiarity with agency management software is a plus.
- Tech-savvy and eager to learn new platforms and tools.
