The Systems Team within the Planning & Housing Service provides system administration and end user support to the systems used by the Development Management Land Charges Building Control Public Protection Licensing and Private Sector Housing functions.
The Role:
This role is providing end user support for the Systems used within Planning & Housing and Regulatory Services and acting as System Administrators for the Idox Uniform System Public Access Idox Document Management System (DMS) Enterprise Dashboard Idox Mobile Apps and using Power Bi/MS Access for performance management.
We are looking for a motivated and driven person who can work both collaboratively and using their own initiative to support the Systems Support team. Excellent customer care communication and organisational skills will be essential and system administrator knowledge/experience would be advantageous. The ability to work with accuracy and pay attention to detail together with being able to deal with a high volume of work is essential. Experience of using the IDOX Uniform/Document Management System (DMS) would be advantageous although full training will be given.

This is a public/customer-facing role where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies.
Working Pattern:
Whilst the location/work base for this role has been specified our evolving ways of working means that the role will require you to work in a hybrid way e.g. working from home and working from the South Wheal Crofty offices in Pool near Camborne. More details will be provided at the interview.
Whilst flexible working is possible and there is a flexi system in place there will be a requirement to work within the core business hours of Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm the majority of time as this role provides end user support.
What youll need to succeed:
Applicants should have 5 x GCSEs at Grade 5 or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English experience of using Microsoft office applications and any other reasonable use of IT. You will have good interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy the challenge of working within a busy team.
