Job Description
Location: San Francisco Palo Alto Los Angeles - Century City
Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Process Engineer to propel our team towards excellence. This position demands a forward-thinking individual with a robust history of enhancing manufacturing processes boosting efficiencies and upholding top-tier quality and safety standards. Your expertise will be crucial in spearheading continuous improvement initiatives and fostering process excellence throughout our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop configure and optimize industrial processes from inception through to startup and certification.
- Analyze processes gather measurements and interpret data to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
- Design test and upgrade systems and processes ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead process improvement projects utilizing methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process innovation and operational excellence.
- Mentor junior engineers offering technical expertise and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure all processes adhere to safety and environmental responsibility standards.
- Prepare and present reports and proposals to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in process engineering or a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience with process simulations and engineering software tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Certifications in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma are highly desirable.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
