The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is growing its research infrastructure and looking for a qualified part-time (0.2 FTE) Biostatistician to join the research team and support current and future faculty research. Below are key duties and responsibilities of this important position:
Key Responsibilities:
Develops and maintains Power BI dashboards in support of research and clinical projects
Works to improve efficiencies/automation within developed dashboards
Pulls data from national datasets and manipulates cleans and interprets the data in an appropriate manner.
Creates analytic datasets from varied data sources including electronic medical record data
Ensures that research data has gone through proper data checking prior to use in analyses.
Performs basic statistical analysis independently and advanced statistical analyses in collaboration with senior statistician(s).
Hybrid this role is eligible to work remotely but the employee must be in the United States.CO.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Experienced in development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards
Experienced in SQL programming with an emphasis on pulling and manipulating data from electronic medical record data (e.g. VAs Corporate Data Warehouse)
Experienced in use of statistical program(s) for statistical analyses and REDCap for data management.
An M.S. or M.A. degree
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred experience in advanced data visualization methods
Preferred experience in automating processes for Power BI dashboard maintenance

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position at 0.2 FTE has been established as $14000 - $24758
The above hiring range represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level.
