Job Description

Description

The Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Florida is seeking an outstanding BC/BE noninvasive cardiologist to join a high-volume practice in an academic tertiary care setting. The ideal candidate should be level 3 echo trained and NBE board certified in echocardiography. Additional consideration will be given to candidates with dedicated training in interventional echocardiography and other cardiac imaging modalities (CT MRI nuclear cardiology). Other responsibilities would include hospital rotation and participation in outpatient clinics aligned with the individuals expertise which may be in any subspecialty area within cardiology. Individuals with expertise in heart failure vascular medicine or preventative cardiology are preferred. Teaching students residents fellows and engaging scholarly activities are expected in accordance with the Mayo Clinic Model of Care.



Qualifications

Qualifications: Must be board certified in Cardiovascular Medicine Echocardiography and able to obtain Florida state medical license. If requesting CT MRI or nuclear cardiology privileges proof of training and/or certification is also required.
