Data Analytics & Strategy

Job Description:

As Analytics Director working within a key Product Area in Candy Crush Soda Saga you will lead a high-performing team delivering critical insights that shape Sodas economy monetisation and content strategies. Your leadership will empower the product area to make data-informed decisions that enhance engagement increase revenue and tailor the game to all players at all times.

This role combines hands-on strategic thinking with people leadership. Youll partner with cross-functional leaders elevate analytics practices and ensure that your teams work drives real player and business impact.

Your role within the Kingdom

  • Lead a team of 10 data scientists enabling excellence across experimentation player insights economy modelling and performance analysis.

  • Partner with product leads to define priorities shape product strategy and measure progress against strategic objectives.

  • Champion lifecycle- and monetisation-focused analytics ensuring the team delivers actionable insights that enhance both player experience and revenue generation.

  • Drive the design and evaluation of experiments across multiple product themes improving our understanding of player behaviour and response.

  • Act as the analytics voice within leadership and represent the product area in Soda and King-wide data forums.

  • Contribute to scalable analytics frameworks reusable tooling and data methodologies that enable speed and quality across teams.

  • Coach and develop your team building a strong empowered and engaged analytics craft

  • Collaborate closely with Finance Game Design and Central Analytics to connect business outcomes to player behaviour and economic drivers.


Skills to Create Thrills

  • Proven ability to lead and grow a high-performing analytics team in a fast-paced product environment.

  • Strong experience applying analytics to monetisation economy systems and player lifecycle management.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and strategic thinking able to connect insights to product and business outcomes.

  • Deep understanding of experimentation product analytics and data storytelling.

  • Advanced skills in SQL and familiarity with statistical packages (e.g. R Python) and data visualisation tools.

  • 5 years of professional experience in analytics with relevant experience leading analytical roles such as Data Scientists and Product Analysts.

  • Background in gaming or consumer tech preferred.

  • Bachelors degree in a quantitative field required; advanced degree a plus.
