Wastewater Technician- NEW PLANT STARTUP!

$26 - hourly rate

Afternoon Shift 4pm to 12am

As a Wastewater Operator youll play a vital part in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our water treatment facilities. Heres what youll be doing:

• Complying with all safety and environmental regulations to protect our communities and environment
• Collecting preparing and performing analytical laboratory testing on daily samples
• Adjusting treatment processes chemical feed rates and equipment based on lab analysis system trends and SOPs
• Maintaining meticulous records performing data entry and delivering standardized end-of-shift reports
• Monitoring and managing system performance to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency
• Following technical operating procedures while contributing to operational improvements
• Keeping all treatment facilities and equipment in pristine condition
• Continuously enhancing your knowledge of systems and operations

• Laboratory analysis skills: Youre eager to learn and perform critical lab procedures.
• Flexibility: Youre ready to adjust to variable schedules when needed.
• Ohio EPA Class 1 wastewater operator license is preferred upon hire; must be obtained within a reasonable timeframe set by Shearers.
• Ability to work independently with a get-it-done attitude.
