Job Description
For EHS services in theOccupational and Process Safety area.
WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT:
The Technical Part:
- Bachelors Degree and or an equivalent of two(2) years of exposure inthe regulated industry.
- Bilingual (Spanishand English).
- Good organizational and problem-solvingskills.
- Shift: Administrative& according to business needs.
- (special support for 3rd shift may be required).
- Experience in:
- Software:Cority Humantech 3E.
- Develop and recommend engineering administrative and PPE controls.
- Collect calibrate and interpret industrial hygiene samples and monitoring data.
- Incident investigations and root cause analyses related to occupational exposures.
- Assessments for chemical physical and biological hazards such as air sampling noise survey and dosimetry.

AS A PIECE OF FITS YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)
- Provide Subject Matter expertise and specialist support in assigned areas and programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address industrial hygiene concerns and any other safety concern as necessary.
- Deliver training to employees on workplace hazards safe work practices and health protection measures.
- Provide technical expertise for the management of Environmental Health & Safety programs.
- Under minimal supervision perform EH&S duties for program design development and implementation.
- Ensure compliance with EH&S federal state and local regulations.
- Develops new programs and implement changes as necessary.
- Prepare reports responses to inquiries and conduct monitoring.
- Design develop and implement EH&S programs. Maintain & continuously improve EH&S programs to support Amgen operations for day-to-day operations.
- Determine impact of new operations/processes/capital projects upon the EH&S programs. Developing program changes necessary to support business objectives.
- Analyze existing and future processes to identify cost-effective solutions to reduce EH&S impacts Internal Auditing.
