Investing years into R&D to create the safest containment system in the world and taking on the industry status quo to petition for higher standards in sharps protection we witnessed an 80 percent reduction in disposal-related needlestick injuries nationwide. And then we kept going...
We are looking for a Warehouse Worker to join our team in Abbotsford on a full-time basis working on the (afternoon shift).
This role will be working with our Operations Manager and Plant Supervisor with warehouse responsibilities and inventory.
For requirements responsibilities etc.
Move material safely and on a timely basis within facility and inside or outside of trailers
Conduct trailer inspections (trailer inspection checklist) prior to loading and unloading
Conduct external trailer inspection prior to loading finished goods trailers
Operate Automatic shrink-wrapping machine to wrap finished goods/Rolls
Lifting up to 40-50 pounds throughout the day
Weekly/monthly inventory counts
Buildkits
Receive incoming shipments and preparing outbound shipments.
Forklift certified
Load unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handlingequipment
Perform other material handling activities such as counting weighing sorting packing and unpacking
Stacks skids or pallets in designated areas
Ensure that material storage areas are kept organized and clean
Perform forklift inspection at shift start or before first use and report any damage immediately
Diligently follow lockout/tagout procedures whenever required
Light cleanup maintenance
**Forklift certification is an asset
**Must be able to use a computer and enter information
Daniels Health is looking for someone with a can-do attitude who is committed to efficient timely scheduling that has previous experience in a labor-intensive job. A person with proven longevity with their employers that we can rely on
Opportunities for overtimewe always need extra handson deck so overtime opportunities are plentiful
Work hours Monday Friday position from 10am-5:30pm
Payrate: $22/hr.
